Our Cat, Maximillin the Great

We were lucky enough to be gifted not one but two of your mosaic pieces from Elaine and Candice for Christmas. The cat mosaics were in honor of our cat and ruler of our household, Maximillion the Great Medeck.
Max inspected his likeness and gave it two paws up, approving of how you captured his holiness.
On a more serious note, we love your work not only for the life like images that convey soulful eyes of our cat but for the material you use that allows, sunlight and artificial light to reflect shimmers in different parts of the art depending on the time of day or where we stand in admiring your work.

Remembrance
We found downtoearthmosaics online shortly after our African Grey Admiral passed away. He was the sweetest most loving family member for almost 30 years. He was kind, funny, a great talker and his passing has left a hole in our lives. The stepping stone Alicia created for us is so amazing in how it captures the spirit of Addy, we are planning to use it as the centerpiece of a small memorial grave marker. Amazing craftsmanship, a real treasure. We are going to order a portrait of our 45 year old Lilac Crowned Amazon soon. Thank you!!

Handmade original mosaic
I am so very pleased to receive the mosaic Alicia made for me of my wonderful cat Bobo. He was the best in every way. This is so beautiful. She added touches like his tag, his whiskers and eyebrows. The colors and textures are terrific! I love how the tips of his ears escape the top border! It was created and delivered in a short time and now it on the living room wall here. Peace and Healing
Alicia was an absolute joy to work with – fast, professional, accommodating – and the mosaic could not have turned out more beautiful. This was a gift for a dear friend who had lost her beloved dog.
